Canine Crawl - Dog Walk Fundraiser

With one week left until our 12th annual Canine Crawl there is just enough time to download a pedge form and help support the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina!

This one mile walk through downtown Greenville gives local dog owners the opportunity to show off their prize pooches to the community!  In order to participate in the walk you must download a pledge form here and raise a minimum of $25 in donations.  Prizes will be awarded to participants who reach a variety of different pledge levels and those who raise the most money will have the honor of leading the parade of pups through the city!

But the fun doesn't stop there!  Canine Crawl is an all day event filled with fun for the whole family!  Looking for a fun afternoon out?  Come out and enjoy some tasty food and live music!  Interested in adopting a new four-legged friend?  Visit the HSEC adoption stand!  Looking for some tips on how to train your canine companion?  Don't miss the dog training demonstration from Top Dog Academy!
Registration begins at 12 and the walk begins at 1pm.  If you're planning to participate in the walk please keep the following rules in mind:

Do NOT bring your dog if he/she is younger than SIX months of age.
Do NOT bring your dog if he/she is not fully vaccinated.
Do NOT bring your dog is she is in HEAT.
Have your dog wear current ID and rabies tag (or bring rabies certificate)
Water will be provided.
Even if you are not thirsty, be sure to let your dog have plenty of access to water.
Keep your dog on a 6-foot or shorter leash at all times.
Bring your dog if he/she will enjoy being around other people and dogs.

Join us this coming Sunday, March 25th, from 12-4 for a fun filled afternoon where you'll have the opportunity to celebrate everything you love about dogs and support the HSEC at the same time!  Check here for more information on Canine Crawl and here for a schedule of events.

Hope to see you there!
